Achtung!

Thanks to Dissensus's Noel Emits for providing me this mp3 of my last Kosmische radio show which accompanied my post on Underground NDW. Lots of folks emailed me asking for the CD I posted out to the faithful last November and I'm afraid I had to disappoint them on principle.

This set would have been available to download from Resonance's archives, but I understand things went a little pear-shaped there. Offering it up now, therefore, I am only furthering the service they would/should have provided. With any luck I won't be the subject of a witch-hunt by a gang of militant greying German New-Wavers.....

Listening to your show right now. It's something beautiful which brings back memories of some of great Dutch radioshows I listened to in the late eighties when I first discovered so much fantastic music.

We actually sold quite a lot of the Monoton album here in Utrecht last year. You could really tell it was a labour of love: all of the packages we got sent had every single cd meticulously wrapped in thick paper. We'd never seen anything like that before.

- Really appreciate all of your writing!!!

cheers for this, missed it last time because i didn't have broadband then... looking forward to seeing if the write-ups match the music, a new variation on the D Fens burger bar mysticism... normally, the writing / description/ enthusiasm etc exceeds the music in most directions (i guess this is a general blog glitch, with myself included...) but when they do fit it's wonderful...

so, er, thanks!

NOTE TO SELF: just say thanks and get the hell out of there

I got copies of some Kosmische shows a while back, and your NDW special was amongst them. Particularly nice introduction to the scene. I've since managed to track down a large amount of NDW 7"s, and those I couldn't get in mp3. Some of the more rare bits and bobs from the era will be uploaded here, primarily to stir up some interest in these lost works. I've only just started it, but it should progress.
